Garrett offers over 25 years of corporate consulting, training, and coaching experience. He has loved every minute of it.
Consulting for some of the world’s largest corporations, his clients include; Aetna, Alcatel – Lucent, American Express, AT&T Wireless, Bristol-Myers Squibb, Chase, Colgate-Palmolive, Financial Times, GE, Honeywell, IBM, Johnson & Johnson, Men’s Health, New York Life, Pfizer, Prudential, PSE&G, Schering-Plough, Sherwin Williams, The New York Times, Tyco, United States Postal Service, Verizon Wireless, and Yale University. Garrett’s vast consulting experience spans the insurance, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, advertising, educational, energy, financial services, government, and telecommunications industries.
Garrett personally designs and delivers the programs of his own Maximum Positive Impact® Performance Excellence Strategy. Garrett strategically intervenes with subject matter experts, managers, supervisors, trainers, and coaches to help them become proficient and effective trainers and coaches when they’re called upon to fulfill either of those roles. Garrett also works with the performers themselves to help them make the most of each and every training and coaching opportunity.
His areas of training expertise include train-the-trainer, train-the-coach, one-on-one coaching, presentation / communication skills training, persuasion skills training, creating effective visuals, sales training, software training, live online training, instructional design, and web-based instructional design.
He has designed eLearning programs offering trainers self-paced instruction in the art of training with Maximum Positive Impact®. Embedded as part of the eLearning experience he has produced and directed instructional videos. He trains people around the world via various web conferencing programs. Some of his software training expertise includes CRM, various financial management programs, FDA document authoring and submission, procurement, and Sarbanes – Oxley (SOX) financial compliance reporting.
Garrett spent the early part of his career honing his skills by selling software to the financial industry. Calling on upper level management he used his persuasive skills to successfully convince them to try the new concept of transferring funds between their corporate customers and their institution via electronic (ACH) communications. He trained his clients on the effective operation of the system and worked with sales and marketing on how to best position this new and exciting service to their corporate prospects.
With his extensive sales and sales training background, much of his time has been spent training clients on sales-focused offerings.

Overall, Garrett’s ability to communicate effectively and to explain sometimes complex material in a clear, concise, and easy to understand manner directly results in participant success. Motivating and coaching his participants in a firm, encouraging, and enthusiastic manner are among his major strengths.
Garrett’s free time is spent hiking, fishing, reading, watching a variety of sports, and listening to great music.
Garrett resides in Red Bank, New Jersey.
